There are 35 pitchers in Major League Baseball (MLB) history who have achieved the remarkable feat of throwing multiple no-hitters. No-hitters are a rare and impressive accomplishment in baseball, where a pitcher holds the opposing team hitless for an entire game, but there are even fewer who have managed to do it more than once. Let’s explore this exclusive group of pitchers and their impressive achievements!

1. Nolan Ryan – The undisputed king of no-hitters, Nolan Ryan, threw an astonishing seven no-hitters during his illustrious career. He played for several teams, including the New York Mets, California Angels, Houston Astros, and Texas Rangers.

2. Sandy Koufax – A legendary left-hander, Koufax threw four no-hitters for the Los Angeles Dodgers and is widely regarded as one of the greatest pitchers in MLB history.

3. Bob Feller – Feller, who played his entire career for the Cleveland Indians, also threw three no-hitters.

4. Cy Young – The legendary Cy Young, for whom the Cy Young Award is named, had three no-hitters during his illustrious career.

5. Larry Corcoran – Corcoran was one of the earliest stars of baseball and threw three no-hitters for the Chicago White Stockings in the late 1800s.

6. Addie Joss – Joss, who spent his entire career with the Cleveland Naps (now the Cleveland Indians), threw two no-hitters.

7. Christy Mathewson – Mathewson, a Hall of Famer for the New York Giants, also had two no-hitters to his name.

8. Johnny Vander Meer – Vander Meer achieved a remarkable and unique feat by throwing no-hitters in consecutive starts in 1938 for the Cincinnati Reds. His back-to-back no-hitters are one of the most impressive records in baseball history.

9. Tim Lincecum – The San Francisco Giants’ ace, Lincecum, threw two no-hitters during his career and played a crucial role in his team’s success.

10. Max Scherzer – Scherzer, a dominant pitcher for the Detroit Tigers and Washington Nationals, reached this milestone with two no-hitters to his name.

11. Roy Halladay – Halladay, a beloved figure in the baseball community, threw two no-hitters for the Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia Phillies.
